Messingschlager is one of Europe’s largest importers of bicycle parts, specializing in supplying bicycle wholesalers and OEMs in over 60 countries. To ensure fast and targeted data exchange with its more than 1,200 partners, Messingschlager has introduced a standardized Veloconnect interface with the support of Campudus GmbH. This provides retailers and OEM customers with direct access to up-to-date product data, stock levels, and digital ordering processes.
“By introducing Veloconnect, we are creating a modern, standardized interface that makes our processes significantly more efficient. Our partners benefit from a smooth and fast data exchange – from product maintenance to order processing. This not only saves time but also improves service quality for our customers,” explains Toni Messingschlager (Technology Director / Member of the Board).
The Veloconnect Server from Campudus simplifies communication with existing partners and streamlines the onboarding of new customers. Through the standardized interface, retailers and OEMs gain structured access to the entire product range of more than 30 brands – including KMC, Brose, and SRAM, as well as the in-house brands M-Wave and MOCA. Product master data, availability, pricing, and images are provided automatically and always up to date.
By successfully integrating the Veloconnect Server with its internal ERP system, Messingschlager has laid the foundation for a future-proof, scalable, and automated data exchange. As the official implementation partner of DiBike and VSF, Campudus always supports the latest Veloconnect version via its server infrastructure. Messingschlager is already planning to implement advanced versions of the standard to further simplify and enhance digital collaboration with its retail partners.
